WHO WE ARE
Skylands Trails Association (STA) is a non-profit organization founded by people who enjoy the numerous trails and open spaces in Northern Warren and Southern Sussex Counties.
Strong Open Space Programs in our counties and townships afford us the opportunity to preserve the beauty of the area and enjoy it through outdoor recreational activities such as hiking, biking horseback riding and carraige driving.
OUR GOAL
We will identify and maintain trails currently in use while working with state and local governments and private land owners to create new trails, linking as many parks, forests and open spaces as possible.
As a large and influential group of recreational users, we will work with state and local governments to support their open space efforts. We will also seek grant money wherever available to purchase trail easements across preserved farmland and private open land.
